Education Minister of Delhi State Mr. Arvind Singh Lovely said in reply to MLA Shoaib Iqbal’s question in the assembly that we want to appoint Urdu medium teacher but we do not get trained teachers. After continuous efforts of two months Anjuman Taraqqi-e-Urdu prepared a list of about 400 teachers and submitted it to Mr. Arvind Singh Lovely. After reviewing the list Mr Arvind Singh Lovely said that we want teacher who can teach science, social science and mathematics. After some time the Anjuman submitted a list of about 200 teachers to Mr. Lovely. Various delegation of ATU met Mr. Lovely, Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit and Suhail Ejaz Siddiqui. Chief Minister and minister forwarded all submitted application to Urdu Academy Delhi with instruction to appoint 126 candidates immediately. The academy informed Anjuman Taraqqi-e-Urdu that after selecting the teachers according to the rules and regulation, the process of appointing Urdu medium will be started soon.
